This Privacy Policy explains what information CineVersus collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the app you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
When you create an account we store your email address and basic profile details. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive the identifier those providers share. We also store the activity you generate in the app — battles, votes, rankings, watchlist and achievements — so the experience works across your devices.
How we use your information
We use your data to run core features (rankings, brackets, recommendations), to sync your account across devices, to process subscriptions, and to improve the product. We do not sell your personal data.
Third-party services
CineVersus relies on trusted providers: Supabase (authentication and database), RevenueCat and the App Store / Google Play (subscriptions), and analytics/crash tools such as Amplitude and Sentry. Movie and series metadata is sourced from catalogs like TMDB and TVDB. Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy.
Data retention & deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can request account deletion from within the app or by contacting support; we will remove your personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.
Children's privacy
CineVersus is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
